Frequently asked questions
Do I need a digital piano?
No. The app listens through the microphone, so it works with acoustic pianos, digital pianos and keyboards alike – no cables needed.
Does it cost anything?
The app and a selection of songs are free, without an account. Premium is an optional subscription with extra songs and features.
Which devices does it work on?
On computers, tablets and phones in a modern browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox). You can also install it as an app on your home screen.
Is my sound recorded?
No. The microphone signal is analysed in real time in your browser and is never stored or sent over the internet.
I don't have a piano nearby – can I still try it?
Yes. Tap the on-screen piano or use your computer keyboard (A W S E D F …) to play along.
